This is the best place by far and I travel all over doing food reviews and quality of the food service prices and wait staff. I would highly recommend this restaurant for get togethers to birthdays ect awesome food hats off to miss Becky and mr Clint

Food on buffet was not hot, borderline cold. Very disappointed with the meal, have been here many times through the years and sadly today's visit will be the last. Don't waste your time or money.

NOT KID FRIENDLY!! KIDS EAT same price AS AN ADULT!!!(except "8&under" I remember now why we don't go here! Great home cooking! I swear they have a little southern Grandma in the kitchen making the dishes. Love the fried chicken and pulled pork. All the sides are great too.

We ordered a family pack from this restaurant when I was not in the mood to make dinner, and let me tell you, it was excellent. I could not find the menu online, so I phoned and asked if they had a family pack. The lady on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. She even asked for 20 minutes notice on the family pack for the chicken. Because of COVID, I sent my husband to pick it up. Apparently, the 20 minutes notice was because she made us FRESH fried chicken. Even though we live 15 minutes away, when my husband got back, the bag of chicken was piping hot. One of my kids ate two full pieces of chicken. The portions were large and it highly exceeded what I had anticipated the meal would be (only $21.99 for 9 pieces of fried chicken, coleslaw, NC BBQ, 2 dozen hushpuppies and 1/2 gallon of sweet tea). Based on the reasonable price, the high quality and quantity of food and great customer service, I would order from here whenever I don't feel like cooking dinner.

The buffet was amazing. Lots to choose from, and the ambient was truly great. Reminds me a lot of my grandparents. A great spot for that southern feeling you're longing for.

It was the worst food I ever had. It took over 45 mins to get the food and half the items was still cold. They serve to you since COVID. The service was amazing and the people were very nice and sweet. Service is 2 stars but the food was the worst thing about the restaurant. Would not go here again and would not recommend this. I could have bought frozen items at Walmart and cook it in order to get the same results. It would have been cheaper and expectations would have been the same. Benefit of a doubt: 1. We came in an hour before closing so fully fresh food would have suffered from this2. We had a very large group which explains the long wait. However half the table at their order and by the time the last orders go their food; everyone had finished: food was still cold from the last orders at all which was very weird. 3. Service was amazing and very sweet. If you do try this restaurant, You will see that the service has a very friendly atmosphere and upbeat attitude. Stay safe.

This place I'm sorry to say has gone downhill. It is a NO for me. The food is cold, there isn't much of a selection, and the waitresses would rather stand back and gossip rather than be out waitressing. The good side? When we were leaving the place. That was the good side.

Not the most recently built or best-looking restaurant inside or out but the food makes up for it, when it's available. And hopefully they won't run out of plates like they did when I went today (12.20.18). But as I said, The food was fantastic and I thought I overate and came out feeling great! The Waitresses are very nice, too.

Oh my goodness if you're in town this is a great place for a buffet delicious catfish fillets oh my God to die for everything was hot and fresh the waitresses in the entire staff were so helpful delicious food definitely going back there again

When a BBQ place says that they have no ribs the service and other menu items has to be outstanding. The service was but the other menu items not so much.

The food was pretty good the best thing I like which side should until cuz then everybody will be going there for it and then I probably wouldn't be able to get my share anyway the fresh sausages are great.

Annual stop during our trip to Carolina Beach

One of the best buffets in town!! Some of the best food I have eaten and on the weekends they usually have seafood specials! This is a great place to bring the family. Our 3 kids ( all under 10) love to come here to eat. They have a wide selection and i love being able to try new foods. Their is always something different or new to try. I highly recommend.

Food was great. Service was also. That's the reason for four stars. But after leaving I asked my brother if he saw the health score he said yea. 88 or 88.5. We never would have ate there if we saw it on the way in.

Server was friendly But food on the buffet and could have seemed a little warmer.

I took my Dad because he likes to eat here. So when I'm in town that's what I do. I love my Daddy!

Delicious, Great Food & Wonderful Service!!!

Was surprised it had such a low Health Rating(88) but decided to try it any way. The price was very reasonable. They only had shrimp and sea bass. The shrimp was good as was the slaw but most other items were not much to speak of.

Love this restaurant! Bbq, shrimp, Brunswick stew plus veggies, salad & dessert. All you can eat. Reasonable prices.

OMG, piping hot food and delicious! I had fried fish and shrimp and they were so good I'm still thinking abt them a week later. I couldn't say one thing wrong about this place. Clean tables and chairs, friendly, smiling waitress who went out of her way for us, just an all around enjoyable time.

Has been around for a number of years, and is always dependable to have a good variety of"comfort foods" at a reasonable price.

We had a party of 46. Our waiter, Morgan, was EXCELLENT! Most enjoyed the buffet. Food was okay to me.

Cost $14.99 for buffet without drink. After tip and drink it was $20.00 for one person. Health score was a 88. Roaches in bathroom. Food was cold and variety was poor. One buffet table was empty and used for storage. No mashed potatoes on bar. Not what it used to be. Wouldnt be surprised if they were out of business in the next few months.

Good homestyle cooking, reasonable pricing, and excellent service

It's not bad. Their one hit wonder is their fried chicken. The buffet always seems like it's missing something.
